I don’t mind marrying late if I am going to spend my thirties studying or pursuing an LLM (Masters in Law) degree in any of these top universities listed in QS World Rankings as top institutions in the field of law especially the ones in the USA!

#Makeuptransformation Philippine Politics Edition

I usually start my day reading newspapers and today, I had a good start when I saw this drawing by my favorite newspaper’s regular artist, Joshua Cabrera.

The photo depicts my country, Philippines’ present president, Aquino having transformed himself into our former president Arroyo whom in which he criticized heavily for her corruption, poor performance as a president and for encouraging Charter Change, a proposal to amend our Philippine Constitution and remove the one term limitation of the president through a series of applying make up, for now, he was the one who is now impliedly encouraging the congress to amend the constitution and remove also the term limit of the president. How ironic. He was claiming that our previous president sucks and now he’s also doing what she did? I guess him and Arroyo are just the same!

Today’s Inspiration (June 22, 2014)

“Good, better and best.
Never let it rest.
Until your good is better.
And your better is best.” – Tim Duncan of the San Antonio Spurs

So, the real law school classes will begin tomorrow, in which we will now have our daily oral examinations! I hope I can study well until the end of the semester and survive the hardest semester in law school! 🙂 I always remind myself of this beautiful quote from my favorite basketball player and future hall of famer, Timmy Duncan. 🙂

They say… Heat in 7, Heat in 6, Heat in 5, Heat in 4. But who would have thought that the San Antonio Spurs will win the 2014 NBA Championship in just 5 games? Even me, as a Spurs fan for eleven years even expected the 2014 NBA Finals will have a best of seven or six series. I am so happy that the San Antonio Spurs won their fifth NBA Championship and now belong to the only four elite teams that won 5 or more NBA championships. The Spurs deserve to win this title. They proved that basketball is really a TEAM sport and not all about individual and flashy players. They proved that the BEST TEAM BEATS THE BEST PLAYER.

I watched games 1, 3, 4 and 5 and the Spurs really showed to the basketball fans that they deserve to win the championship, be respected and be given credit. I love the way the team plays unselfish basketball. I love the way they pass the ball, shoot those raining three pointers and the energy of the players and the San Antonio Crowd.

I’ve been a fan of the team for eleven years. It all started when I saw their 2003 finals game against the New Jersey Nets and then also won the championship. And now, they still play great team basketball and I’m loving the Spurs Team even more!

I hope the big trio, Timmy, Tony and Manu will stay together for one or two or three more seasons before Manu and Timmy will consider retirement. Although they are a bit old for the sport, they still contribute to the team and still play at their best. They are like the well oiled machines.

Congratulations to the San Antonio Spurs for winning the fifth NBA Championship and to Kawhi Leonard for getting that Finals MVP!

Third Year Law

Third Year Law

May I present to you my third year, first semester class schedule! I feel so ecstatic that I am finally on my second to the last years in law school. I hope I will survive my last two years in law school and will not incur a failing grade so that I will become a Filipina lawyer before I reach 27 years old. 🙂 The clock is ticking and I can’t afford a time to waste! I have so many plans and things to do!

San Antonio Spurs are back to the 2014 NBA Finals!

San Antonio Spurs

The San Antonio Spurs are back to the 2014 NBA Finals after winning the much-thrilled game 6 of the Western Conference Finals against the strong team, Oklahoma City Thunders. The game finished at over time with the score 112-107 in favor of the San Antonio Spurs.

I am so happy that they made it again to the finals and I hope that they can get their sweet revenge against the strong team, Miami Heat who defeated them at last year’s NBA Finals. I want Tim Duncan to have his fifth championship ring before he retires. I am a big fan for more than ten years of this team. They play fundamental basketball and display a great example of team work.
